2011-06-0819:20:52 Warm smiles, giant hugs, encouraging words and unforgettable chuckles are the memories I will cherish of Uncle Donald. He and Aunt Shirley were constant inspirations on their many visits to our Grandparent’s home. To Larry, Jeff and Becky you have grand memories that will carry you through your lifetime. I am very sorry I cannot be in attendance; please know you and your children are in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Donald was a treasure and he will be greatly missed. May the Lord bless and strengthen you and your families through the coming days.

2011-06-0818:26:43 Donald was a favorite cousin when we were growing up at Broaddus. In the fall at syrup making time, I spent the night at their house so we could watch Grandpa Walton make syrup! Donald was michevious at school, but turned out to be a fine family man. He was so proud of his wife and children. We had a final visit when his Mom died. I know he would want you to remember the good times before alzheimers took the real Donald away. My condolences to his siblings, Byron, Hubert, Mary Nell and Gail. May God bless and comfort his immediate family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. In His Love, Alnet Scott Bailess
