William W. Hale, Jr.
William Wayne Hale, Jr was born on July 16, 1942 to Dora Nelson Hale and William Wayne Hale, Sr. He was embraced in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, June 5, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet O’Bryan Hale and his parents. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Hale-Glass and Rebecca Hale. His sister, Elizabeth Hale McClain, his grandchildren, Joshua Glass and Kelsey Glass-Dominguez. His brothers in law, sister in law, nieces and nephews, many cousins, and other family and friends.
Wayne, as he was known by family and friends, graduated from McKinley High School in St Louis MO, he attended the University of Missouri at Columbia, Berean School of the Bible and graduated from Harris Stowe State. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for nine years, served as a St Louis County Police Officer, as a Pastor and Evangelist and finally as a teacher in the Houston TX Public Schools. This is a soul who truly had a servant's heart.
Services: A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, June 11th at 2:00 P.M. It will be held at The Sanctuary (formerly Pentecostal Fellowship) and is located at 6700 Old State Rte 21 in Otto/Barnhart, MO.
Full Military Honors and inurnment to be held Monday, June 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery
